Baggage.
I liked this cartoon at The Naked Pastor today. But I have this question: what happens when you're aware of at least some of your baggage (or a lot in my case) but seem to be powerless to get rid of it?

I think all we can do is be aware of the baggage, acknowledge it and leave the baggage release up to God. I know that sounds simplistic and easy. It's not. But I can't make any of my baggage disappear. I can tell God I don't want to carry it anymore. Ack, the more I write the less sense I am making to myself! There's this weird dynamic where we show up and are willing and God works in His time and place and we can't predict how it will be healed/removed or if it will be a frailty we'll always have.
