You mention here 'broken hearts crying out for friendship', I want to say something, there is only one friendship which can give us true eternity and that is with God.
After reading your phrases, i remember my time when I used to go to church and cry for hours & praying to god, who is mine, who is my true friend, then gradually a relationship, a strong relationship happened in between me and him, now I am happy, whether I am surrounded with friends or not.
Here I want to share with you a new definition of spirituality which I found while surfing on net. I think everyone should read article on spirituality given on soulcurrymagazine.com
