Lesson Learned

Today I learned that attempting to read a memoir about India and learning Hindi, while fighting off a drifting off to sleep, and attempting to filter out the voice of the woman sitting behind me on the bus, talking loudly in an unidentified language (not Spanish, probably Portuguese or Tagalog), is enough to make one's head spin.

I was also reminded that if I am drifting off to sleep every time I get on the bus and sit still for a while, then I perhaps need to take aim at an earlier bedtime to compensate.

Yowza! That's quite a lot, and it kinda made my own head spin. :)

Sigh. I'm just sitting here wishing I could ride on a bus sometime with you. Perhaps someday ... :)

yeah. It was confusing. I gave up on the memoir about India and Hindi after a while, and read blogs on my iphone. :)

You're welcome to ride a bus with me any time. We also have beautiful mountains to take in, within an hour of the city. (Going to those in a couple weeks with one of my favorite people! Hooray!) But, seeing as you hail from warmer climes, I'd recommend coming in the summer! :D Either that or I'll just have to come visit your coast sometime! So yes, someday indeed. :)
