Daily 5 - Year 2, Day 184

Today was a harder day in which to assemble a daily 5, and I think I only made it to 6 items for the first time in quite a while, but here goes nothing.

Today's Daily 5:
  1. After a really challenging morning, when I finally landed at mom and dad's this afternoon, I called it quits.  I landed myself for the next hour or so in a hot bath, with a novel, desperately in need of that bit of escapism, and it was so lovely.
  2. Went to a yoga class tonight - again, definitely needed the relaxation and focus.
  3. And, after healthily sweating for 90 minutes, I decided what I really needed was comfort food.  So I had Macdonalds!
  4. I spent a bit of time watching a couple of the videos done to accompany "One Thousand Gifts", the book I'm reading right now.  I particularly appreciated the video (and the chapter) for chapter two.
  5. I took the time to paint my finger and toenails tonight
  6. Getting a surprise call from a friend who knew it had been a challenging day.  So good to chat for a bit, catch up on each other's lives with voices, and laugh together.
