- Finishing work early, even if it was only because I arrived two hours earlier than usual
- organic fruit
- as a team, pulling off a very important meeting successfully
- solving scheduling woes
- having a place at mom and dad's to escape to, even temporarily
- the generosity of friends and family offering rides to make errands and getting to and from appointments easier in the midst of this crazy deep freeze.
- chatting on skype with a dear friend currently located on the other side of the world in a climate I'm totally jealous of (one where palm trees grow outdoors)
- tea and candles
- finishing a nagging little repair job task on a pillow that I use all the time
- spending the evening playing a game on my laptop, and listening to a fascinating audio book

Sorry that I'm getting to visit palm trees and you're not!
P.S. the word verification thing is 'misses' as in it seems to know that you'd like to say Lisa P. misses palm trees that LP/CA gets to see no matter where she seems to go. Ha ha.
I'm glad you're visiting friends, I'm just jealous of the travel and the palm trees. lol.
love the word verification bit. especially since the other LP/CA does seem to have way more than her fair share of palm trees. hee hee
LP/CA North could move nearer to LP/CA South and have her own supply of sun and palm trees...
LP/CA North is not at all surprised by this suggestion of LP/CA South and is offering her usual answer. "I will, in due time. Preferably sooner than later." lol
