- hugging a baby through most of house church
- encouragement from friends as I pursue this crazy, sudden journey of studying
- rooibos tea
- magic bags
- a novel to read and take a few minutes away from studying and relax
- home-made brownies at house church
- nachos, and baby cucumbers dipped in baba ganouj for lunch
- having a place other than grandma's to study at
- offers of help from knowledgeable friends for if I get stuck on various study topics
- finding a book I'd been talking about with a friend at a used bookshop today unexpectedly, for an affordable price, so I can send her a copy.

Sounds like some great things today.
And despite the fact that I pretty much have zero appetite due to the meds and am forcing myself to eat the little I do the last few months, a brownie actually sounds lovely now after you mentioned it. If only your brownies and your house church and a cup of tea and conversation with you weren't in CA (N) instead of CA (S) :-)
I'm especially glad you're getting a refuge to study in!
our host made them, and they were really good brownies. and yes, it really would be helpful if our CAs were closer together!
Wonder if we could get on relocating one of the two CAs so that were possible? ;-)
yes, who do we see about that? ;)
