Re-do?

I'm contemplating (after over four years!) changing the look of my blog.

Of giving it a bit of a facelift.

But I'm nervous about losing features I like, or not being able to make other features work the way I'd prefer.

What do you think? Is it time for a facelift? Have you ever done a facelift to your own blogs? How involved was the process?
