i encourage you to not work on being okay with it because working on it only intensifies what you are in. it becomes the very focus. when we are focused on working on something, we tend to miss the very thing that might be in it or just beyond it. i know this sounds counter-intuitive, but don't work on it. receive it and then wait. listen.
it is when we receive and listen that we are able to more fully acknowledge what is true and what we are feeling without having to analyze or make excuses. receiving and listening acknowledges, in the end, that we are real and valuable.

mmm... yes... I suppose what I meant by working to be okay with it is that I am trying to conciously (and unconciously) relax into the space, however unsettled, that I'm currently occupying, and simply be aware to listen and receive...
